Sinak – The presence of Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation Task Force personnel in the middle of the community of Sinak District, Papua Pegunungan, was seen again through a walking patrol that was carried out on Sunday (5/24/2026). These activities are part of the apparatus’s efforts in building good communication while maintaining a conducive security situation in the region.
Different from patrols in general, Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation Task Force personnel not only monitor the kamtibmas situation, but also take the time to talk casually and greet the people they meet throughout the patrol.
The warm and familiar atmosphere is seen when the officers interact directly with the residents, listen to various community stories about daily activities to the security conditions in their environment. The presence of the apparatus with the humanist approach also received a positive response from the Sinak community.
The community assessed that the pattern of the dialogical approach carried out by the Cartenz Peace Task Force personnel was able to create a sense of security as well as strengthen the emotional connection between security officers and residents.
Head of Cartenz-2026 Peace Operations, Inspector General. Police Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K, M.Hum., said that humanist patrol is one of the important steps in maintaining security stability in Papua by prioritizing communication and closeness with the community.
“Personnel are present not only to maintain security, but also to build trust and good relationships with the community through humanistic communication,” he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Cartenz-2026 Peace Operations, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that a persuasive approach will continue to be put forward in every task implementation in the Papua region.
“We want the community to feel comfortable with the presence of the apparatus so that joint synergy is created in keeping kamtibmas safe and conducive,” he said.
Through the humanist patrol activity, the Cartenz-2026 Peace Ops Task Force hopes that the harmonious relationship between the security apparatus and the community can continue to be established to support the creation of a safe, peaceful, and prosperous Papua.
