Wamena – Member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) Commission III, Irianto Kogoya, emphasized that the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah should serve as a momentum to strengthen tolerance and harmony among religious communities in Papua Highlands.

According to him, the people of Papua Highlands have long demonstrated strong values of tolerance through the active role of community leaders, religious figures, and traditional leaders in maintaining harmony amid diversity.

He stated that the spirit of brotherhood and mutual respect must continue to be preserved to ensure peace, security, and social harmony remain well maintained, both in urban areas and villages.
