Pegunungan Bintang – In an effort to maintain a safe and conducive public security situation, personnel of the Ops Damai Cartenz 2026 Task Force carried out security measures during the inauguration ceremony of the Indonesian Gospel Church in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Friday (15/05/2026).
The security operation was led directly by the Head of Kiwirok Post, Second Police Inspector (IPTU) Enabel Julian K., S.Pd., involving 14 personnel from the Ops Damai Cartenz 2026 Enforcement Task Force. The presence of security personnel at the location aimed to provide a sense of safety and ensure that the entire worship and inauguration process proceeded orderly, securely, and solemnly.
In addition to providing security, personnel also established warm and humane communication with local residents and religious leaders. The presence of officers was positively welcomed by the community, who felt more comfortable participating in the religious event.
Head of Ops Damai Cartenz 2026, Irjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H. stated that securing places of worship is part of the authorities’ commitment to ensuring public safety during religious activities.
“We want to ensure that people can worship safely, peacefully, and with a sense of serenity. A humane approach will continue to be prioritized in every duty implementation to maintain harmony and security in Papua,” said the Head of Ops Damai Cartenz 2026.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Ops Damai Cartenz 2026, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum. emphasized that synergy and good communication between security personnel and the community are essential foundations for maintaining a conducive security situation.
“The presence of security personnel is not only about maintaining security, but also about building togetherness and care within the community. Through cooperation among all elements of society, we hope Papua will remain safe and peaceful,” he stated. The security operation was carried out safely and smoothly, reflecting the commitment of Ops Damai Cartenz 2026 to maintaining security stability through persuasive and humane approaches
