Pegunungan Bintang – Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force personnel carried out a dialogic patrol that was combined with sambang activities to SDN Bale, Kabiding District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Saturday (2/5/2026). This activity takes place in a safe and conducive situation, as well as strengthening the humanist approach of the apparatus to the community, especially in the Bintang mountain regency area.
The patrol that started around 12.30 WIT, directly targeted the community environment and the education sector. In the implementation of sambang activities at SDN Bale, Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force personnel interacted warmly with students and educators, creating an atmosphere full of familiarity and a sense of security.
In addition to monitoring the security situation, the personnel also convey the messages of kamtibmas persuasively to the community and the school. The presence of officials in this educational environment is a real form of a humanist approach, which not only maintains security stability but also builds public trust from an early age.
The results of the patrol showed that no suspicious activity was found that had the potential to disturb kamtibmas. In general, the situation in Kabiding District and Oksibil District is reported to be in safe, conducive, and controlled conditions. The friendly relationship between the personnel of Operation Peace Cartenz and the community is also well established.
Head of Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation, Inspector General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani, S. Sos., S.I.K., M.H., in his statement emphasized that the dialogical patrol that targets the community and educational institutions is part of the humanist approach strategy of the apparatus in Papua.
“The dialogical patrol carried out by personnel not only aims to maintain security, but also to build emotional closeness with the community, especially children as the next generation. The presence of members in the school is expected to be able to provide a sense of security and grow trust in the apparatus,” he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Peace Operations Cartenz-2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that school activities are an important part of creating long-term security stability.
“The humanist approach through sambang activities, especially in the education environment, is a strategic step in building good communication between the apparatus and the community. With the establishment of closeness from an early age, it is hoped that the kamtibmas situation can continue to be maintained sustainably,” he said.
Positive support was also conveyed by one of the educators at SDN Bale, Yohana Wanimbo, S.Pd., who appreciated the presence of the Operation Peace Cartenz Task Force personnel in the school environment.
“We feel very happy with the presence of the gentlemen from the Task Force. Children feel more safe and happy because they can interact directly. This also provides positive education for them about the importance of maintaining security and discipline from an early age,” he said.
In the future, the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force will intensify dialogical patrols both on foot and using vehicles, especially at vulnerable points and vital objects. In addition, communication with community figures, traditional figures, and religious figures will also continue to be strengthened to support early detection of potential kamtibmas disorders.
With a consistent humanist approach, it is hoped that the presence of officers will not only be felt as security guards, but also as a community partner in creating a safe, peaceful, and harmonious situation in the Bintang Mountains region.
