Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 Engages Nabire Residents Through Dialogue Patrol

Nabire, Central Papua – Personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 conducted a dialogue patrol in the Kaliharapan area of Nabire Regency, Central Papua, on Tuesday afternoon (August 11, 2026), engaging directly with residents while helping maintain a safe and comfortable environment for daily activities.

During the patrol, personnel walked through several roads and access routes commonly used by residents while observing the surrounding conditions and community activities. The approach allowed personnel to monitor the situation while also communicating directly with people in the area.

The personnel also spoke with local residents, including vendors selling their goods in the Kaliharapan area. One of the vendors, Yosina, was seen selling locally grown root vegetables. The conversation took place in a relaxed atmosphere, focusing on daily activities and conditions in the surrounding community.

For residents who depend on daily trading and other activities for their livelihoods, a safe environment is important so they can work with peace of mind. Direct engagement therefore provides an opportunity for personnel to hear about residents’ concerns and understand local conditions firsthand.

Yosina said she appreciated the opportunity to speak directly with personnel.

“When officers come and talk with us, we feel safer. We can also directly share what is happening around here,” she said.

Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., said the presence of personnel among residents was part of efforts to maintain security while strengthening communication with the community.

“We want people to feel safe and comfortable while carrying out their daily activities. That is why communication with residents is important, so we can understand their conditions directly,” said the Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026.

Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said direct interaction could strengthen relations between personnel and the community.

“We continue to encourage our personnel to be present, greet, and listen to residents directly. Through good communication, people can share information about conditions in their neighborhoods and work together to maintain security,” he said.

Throughout the activity, conditions around Kali Woi and Kaliharapan remained safe, while community activities continued normally.

The dialogue patrol was part of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026’s efforts to maintain security through direct engagement with communities. Beyond monitoring local conditions, the patrol emphasizes communication and listening to residents as a way to build closer relations and support a safe and comfortable environment.
