Puncak, Central Papua – Personnel of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 continue to demonstrate their commitment to maintaining security stability in Central Papua through a humanist approach. On Friday (May 1), personnel conducted foot patrols, secured Friday congregational prayers, and carried out drone observations in Sinak District, Puncak Regency.
The activities were focused on several strategic locations, including a junior high school area, the market, and Al Rochim Mosque. All activities were carried out safely and under control, receiving positive responses from the local community.
The dialogical patrols conducted on foot enabled personnel to interact directly with residents while ensuring that the security situation remained conducive during worship activities. In addition, the use of drones supported broader and more effective area monitoring.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that this activity is part of a persuasive approach strategy toward the community.
“The presence of personnel in the field is not only to maintain security but also to build public trust through a humanist approach. We want to ensure that people can carry out their activities, including worship, safely and comfortably,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that the activity has also had a positive impact on regional stability.
“Foot patrols and worship security are concrete steps in maintaining a conducive situation. The community response has been very positive, indicating that the presence of the police is truly felt and beneficial,” he explained.
Based on the patrol results, the security situation in Sinak District remains stable. The community also expressed appreciation for the presence of security personnel, which has provided a sense of safety in their daily activities.
