Jayapura- On Saturday, May 11 2024, at around 10.40 WIT, the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force succeeded in apprehending a person suspected of being the perpetrator of the murder of the late Danramil 1703-4/Aradide, First Lieutenant (Anm.) Oktovianus Sogalrey who was caught carrying away the victim’s cell phone.
It is known that the identity of the arrested KKB is Anan Nawipa, male, born in Widimeida, July 6 1991, address at Widimeida Village, Paniai Regency
A number of pieces of evidence that were secured included 1 cell phone with a SIM card number belonging to the late Danramil Aradide, First Lieutenant (Anm.) Oktovianus Sogalrey; 1 machete; 1 set of L keys; 1 BRI account book and 1 blue-black side bag.
Head of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, when giving a statement, said that the perpetrator was currently being investigated further at the Paniai Police Headquarters. “Currently we have succeeded in apprehending the perpetrator and further investigation is being carried out by our personnel together with the Paniai Police,” concluded Bayu.
