Oksibil – Gunfire between security forces and KKB occurred again, this time in the Serambakon District area. It is known that the gunfire occurred at around 11.00 WIT when security forces were patrolling the area.
Head of the Cartenz 2023 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force AKBP Dr Bayu Suseno explained that it was true that an ambush occurred against members who were carrying out patrols in the Bintang Mountains District.
“Yes, that’s right, there was a firefight between the Cartenzs 2023 Peace Ops task force and the KKB in Yapimakot Village, Serambakon District, Bintang Mountains Regency at around 11.00 WIT (18/09/2023) which resulted in 1 member being killed in the name of Brigadier Agung,” explained Bayu
As of the time this news was published, the Cartenzs Peace Ops task force team was pursuing the KKB group.
