Puncak Jaya — As part of efforts to strengthen the synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) in the Papua region, the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025 Task Force conducted an assistance visit to the TNI Kopasgat Post located in Puncak Jaya Regency, on Monday at 12:00 PM WIT (April 7, 2025).
The visit was led directly by the Head of Public Relations for Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., accompanied by the Head of Enforcement for Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Police Commissioner Wahyu, S.I.K., M.H. Their presence served as a clear symbol of the solidarity and collaborative spirit between the two national defense institutions, both of which play crucial roles in maintaining security and stability in Papua.
A warm and familial atmosphere filled the gathering at the Kopasgat Post. Personnel from both the TNI and Polri were seen exchanging stories, boosting morale, and sharing hopes. This moment fostered not only strategic coordination but also built emotional bonds that further strengthened their shared commitment to maintaining peace and security in the Land of Papua.
Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., stated that the visit was part of ongoing efforts to deepen unity and build trust amidst the challenges of their mission.
“This visit is an important momentum to reinforce the unity between the TNI and Polri on the ground. The familial atmosphere we experienced proves that synergy is not just about strategy—it’s about mutual respect and supporting one another. We are here as one unified force, committed to keeping Papua safe, peaceful, and prosperous,” he said.
The synergy fostered during this visit is expected to serve as a strong foundation for the execution of future national duties. Through Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, the TNI and Polri continue to demonstrate that harmony amidst diversity is the key to building a better Papua.
