Puncak, Central Papua – The presence of personnel from Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 during security measures for Friday prayers at Ar Rochim Mosque in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Friday (July 17, 2026), provided a greater sense of safety and comfort for members of the community attending worship.
The security operation was carried out alongside a foot patrol around the Sinak Market area as part of ongoing efforts to maintain public security and order. During the patrol, personnel monitored the surrounding environment while engaging in friendly dialogue with local residents to ensure that community activities continued safely and peacefully.
One worshipper at Ar Rochim Mosque, who requested anonymity, expressed appreciation for the security presence, saying it allowed the congregation to perform prayers without concern.
“We are grateful that the worship service could proceed peacefully. The presence of the officers made us feel safer, allowing us to focus on our prayers,” the worshipper said.
