Tembagapura – Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening ties with the community through various humanitarian programs. One of these efforts was carried out through the Honai Belajar educational program organized by Tembagapura Sector Police at Tembagapura Police Station, Mimika Resort Police, Central Papua Regional Police, from Thursday (June 18) to Friday (June 19, 2026).
The activity was led by Tembagapura Police Chief, First Inspector of Police Firman, S.E., together with personnel of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026, including Second Inspector of Police Fiona Safitri, S.H., M.H., Brigadier of Police Winda Musriyana, S.E., Brigadier of Police Benny Windarto, S.H., Second Brigadier of Police Faris Naufal Zakky M., Second Brigadier of Police Sofia Dina Lorenza S., and other Tembagapura Police personnel. The program aimed to support education for children in Tembagapura while broadening their knowledge and perspectives.
During the activity, children were introduced to basic geography and science lessons. The educational materials included world maps, the locations of countries, the names and order of planets in the solar system, and fundamental knowledge about the universe.
Using interactive learning methods, personnel introduced children to the shape of the Earth, the locations of continents, and the characteristics of planets within the solar system. The materials were delivered in a simple and engaging manner, encouraging curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about the wider world.
The learning sessions were conducted in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The children actively participated in every session, from exploring world maps to learning about the planets orbiting the sun. The program not only expanded their knowledge but also broadened their understanding of geography and science from an early age.
The Honai Belajar program represents a tangible example of the presence of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 alongside Tembagapura Sector Police in supporting human resource development through education. Beyond providing knowledge, the activity also serves as a bridge to strengthen relationships between security personnel and the community, particularly the younger generation of Papua.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that a humanitarian approach through education is an essential part of building public trust while maintaining a safe and conducive security environment in Papua.
“Through the Honai Belajar program, we want to be present not only as guardians of security but also as partners of the community in supporting the education of Papuan children. We hope this activity will foster enthusiasm for learning, improve knowledge, and motivate the younger generation to pursue their dreams,” said the Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026.
In line with this, the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that the program reflects the Task Force’s commitment to improving the quality of human resources in Papua.
“We hope this program will provide meaningful benefits to children in Tembagapura. In addition to increasing knowledge, this activity serves as a platform for character building, strengthening self-confidence, and fostering harmonious relationships between security personnel and the community,” said Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga.
