Amidst Tranquil Worship, Carstensz Peace Task Force Patrols Maintain Security and Strengthen Closeness with the Congregation in Sinak

Sinak, Central Papua – The presence of personnel from the Carstensz 2026 Peace Operation Task Force was again felt by the community through foot patrols combined with security for Christian worship services in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Sunday (June 14, 2026).

The activity, which began at 9:30 a.m. WIT, was carried out as an effort to maintain public security and order (kamtibmas) and ensure that Christian worship services could proceed safely, orderly, and solemnly.

During the operation, Carstensz Peace Operation Task Force personnel traveled through the Sinak District Market area and several locations that are centers of community activity. Personnel directly monitored the situation through foot patrols throughout the Sinak area to anticipate potential security disturbances.

This activity, not only focused on security aspects, but also served as a means of building communication and closeness with the community. Personnel greeted residents engaged in activities around the location, interacted with the congregation, and provided a sense of security through the police’s humane presence within the community.

Patrols and security activities took place in a safe and conducive environment. The presence of personnel received a positive response from the community, who felt the benefits of the police’s presence in maintaining security during religious services and daily activities.
