Paniai – As part of its commitment to improving community welfare, the Paniai Police, through Operation Cinta Damai Noken 2026, distributed a clean water storage tank to residents of Bibida Village, Paniai Regency, on Tuesday (June 9, 2026).
The social initiative was led by the Head of Community Development Unit (Kasat Binmas) of Paniai Police, IPDA Lalu H. Anady, S.E., along with several personnel who assisted in installing the water tank before officially handing it over to the community. The assistance was symbolically received by Bibida Village community leader, William Zonggonau.
The installation process involved active participation from local residents. A strong spirit of cooperation was evident as community members and police personnel worked side by side to complete the installation, ensuring that the facility was ready to serve as a clean water storage system for daily needs.
The presence of the Paniai Police was warmly welcomed by the community. In addition to maintaining public security and order, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) continues to make tangible contributions to meeting the basic needs of local residents, including improving access to clean water.
Through this assistance, it is hoped that community access to clean water will become easier and contribute to improving the quality of life for the residents of Bibida Village and surrounding areas in a sustainable manner.
Representing the people of Bibida Village, William Zonggonau expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Chief of Central Papua Regional Police, Brigadier General Jeremias Rontini, through the Chief of Paniai Police, AKBP Roycke H. F. Betaubun, for the attention and support provided to the community. He stated that the assistance reflects Polri’s commitment to supporting the welfare of residents in remote areas.
Operation Cinta Damai Noken 2026 is not only focused on maintaining security and public order but also serves as a platform to strengthen the partnership between the police and the community through various humanitarian programs. Through this strong collaboration, it is expected that a safe, peaceful, and conducive security environment can continue to be maintained throughout Paniai Regency.
