Jayapura – The Jayapura City Government (Pemkot) in Papua is strengthening synergy with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to maintain regional stability to support sustainable regional development.
“Jayapura City is a large house built on diversity, so it must be maintained with full awareness and responsibility by all elements of society,” said Jayapura Mayor Abisai Rollo on the sidelines of a gathering of the government, TNI, Polri, civil servants (ASN), and the community in Jayapura on Friday.
According to Rollo, synergy between the government, TNI, Polri, ASN, and the community is not merely an option, but a necessity that must be realized in everyday life.
“And this gathering is a momentum to strengthen togetherness and strengthen synergy in maintaining stability and supporting regional development,” he said.
He explained that he hopes all elements of society will stand firmly as one strong unit, resilient in facing challenges, and consistent in maintaining peace.
“The halal bihalal gathering is expected to renew the spirit of service, increase integrity, and strengthen the commitment to providing the best service to the community,” he added.
He added that the future development of Jayapura City requires not only hard work but also exemplary behavior, integrity, and discipline, especially from civil servants (ASN), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and the Indonesian National Police (Polri), as the vanguard of public service and safeguarding regional stability.
“We invite all parties to use this momentum as a starting point to strengthen work ethics, improve coordination, and reaffirm our commitment to serving the community,” he said.
