A joint team of the Cartenz Peace Operation along with the Medical and Health Unit of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team have successfully identified 11 bodies of murder victims allegedly committed by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) calling themselves Kodap XVI Yahukimo and Kodap III Ndugama.
On this day, Monday (April 14, 2025), the eleven bodies were officially handed over to the families.
The details of the 11 bodies that have been handed over to the families are as follows:

Stenli Humena, Kalama Darat Village, Sangihe Islands District, North Sulawesi (crime scene at Muara Kum)
Yuda Lesmana, rented house on Jalan Paradiso, Dekai (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Riki Rahmat, Ranomolua Village, Besulutu Subdistrict, Konawe District, Southeast Sulawesi Province (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Muhammad Arif, rented house at Jalur II housing, Dekai (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Safaruddin, rented house at Jalur II housing, Dekai (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Abdur Raffi Batu Bara, rented house at Jalur II housing, Dekai (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Stefanus Gisbertus, Tala Village, Seram Barat District, Maluku (crime scene at Tanjung Pamali, Seradala District)
Zamroni, Dukuh Dulak, Gantungan Village, Tegal District, Central Java (crime scene at Tanjung Pamali, Seradala District)
Rusli, Buti Village, Merauke District, Papua (crime scene at Area 22, gold mining Yahukimo)
The handover of the 11 bodies was conducted by the Cartenz Peace Operation task force in collaboration with local government and military authorities in Yahukimo.
“Previously, on April 10, we had handed over one body named Ariston Kamma from the Pegubin crime scene to the family, and today we have also handed over 11 victims’ bodies to their respective families. This is part of our commitment to ensure the victims return to their families with dignity,” said Deputy Chief of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum.
Meanwhile, Head of the Public Relations Task Force of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., expressed gratitude to the local government and the military.
“We thank the local government, police, and military, as it has been outstanding, with our forces working hand in hand on-site between the Army and Police to ensure this process runs smoothly,” he stated.
The Cartenz Peace Operation task force is committed to continuing the process of evacuation and identification, including the handover of remaining bodies in the near future. Efforts to pursue the perpetrators of these atrocities are also ongoing intensively.
