The group’s attacks continued to be carried out against the security forces, so that the security forces (TNI-Polri) resisted or counter-attacked.
Quoted from several media, the Cartenz Peace Satags to date has succeeded in shooting 7 KKB members who are members of the Undius Kagoya Leadership Group as Pangkodap VIII Intan Jaya Region.
“We succeeded in shooting individuals from the KKB Group who took part in the attack on the Tigamajigi Post, Sugapa,” said Kaops Damai Cartenz to the media.
Apart from that, Kaops Peace Cartenz Kombes Pol. Faizal Ramadhani also said that the attacks from the KKB members had begun to subside due to several of them being hit by gunfire.
He added, if the situation in Intan Jaya Regency starts to become more conducive, and people can return to their refugee camps.
It is known that the National Police and TNI are still carrying out routine patrols around the Intan Jaya Regency area to ensure that no KKB movements can enter the city of Intan Jaya.
