Jayapura — The Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz continued to demonstrate its commitment to community engagement through a humanitarian activity with children in the Nolokla area, East Sentani, Jayapura, on Saturday (29/11/2025) at 14:00 WIT.
During the event, task force personnel interacted directly with local children, distributing snacks and engaging in light-hearted conversations to build warmth and familiarity. Personnel participating in the activity included Bripka Viktor Merani, Bripka Ita Sombo Allo, S.H., Brigpol Reinaldy Nata Rianto, S.H., and Bripda Adnan Maulana.
The event took place in a cheerful and lively atmosphere, with children enthusiastically receiving the treats and chatting with officers on site.
Operation Commander Brig. Gen. Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., praised the initiative, emphasizing that such humanitarian engagement is an essential part of the task force’s community-based approach.
“Humanitarian activities like this carry great meaning, especially for children. We want to show that the presence of security forces is not only about law enforcement, but also about providing safety, support, and emotional closeness. I extend my full appreciation to the personnel involved,” he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Operation Commander Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., also expressed strong support for the effort, noting that such positive interactions help strengthen community relationships.
“Building positive communication with the community is a key strategy in creating a secure and harmonious situation in Papua. Children represent our future, and this human-centered approach nurtures trust between the people and the security forces,” he stated.
The task force hopes that similar humanitarian activities will continue as part of efforts to support security stability and strengthen social bonds across regions in Papua.
