Paniai — The humanistic approach of the Peace Cartenz Operation personnel was once again demonstrated through a warm community engagement activity in Bibida District, Paniai Regency, on Saturday afternoon (15/11/2025) at around 16:30 WIT.
The activity, led by Ipda Nofri Surya Rossa, took place in an atmosphere filled with warmth and familiarity. Peace Cartenz personnel blended with local residents, especially children who enthusiastically welcomed the presence of security forces among them.
With high spirits, the personnel distributed snacks and invited the children to play and take photos together.
According to Ipda Nofri, the event served as an opportunity to strengthen emotional ties between security forces and the community.
“We want to continue building peace in Papua through interactions rooted in compassion and genuine connection. Children are our future, and their happiness inspires us in carrying out our duties,” he said.
The atmosphere at the location was warm and friendly. Local residents greeted the personnel with smiles, while children cheerfully held the snacks and balls given to them.
The Head of Public Relations for the Peace Cartenz Operation 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Dr. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., explained that activities like this reflect the commitment of Peace Cartenz in fostering peace through approaches that touch the hearts of the people.
“We continue to encourage every personnel member to appear with a humanistic spirit — not only to maintain security, but also to build trust and closeness with the community,” said Chief Commissioner Yusuf.
Through this activity, the Peace Cartenz Operation reaffirms that the presence of security personnel in Papua is not merely to maintain public order, but also to spread humanitarian values and strengthen social bonds within the community.
