Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 Evacuates Two Murder Victims in Yahukimo

Yahukimo, Highland Papua – The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 successfully evacuated two gold panners, allegedly identified as Desen Dominggus and Marselinus Manek, who were victims of a murder incident in the Binki Village area, Seradala District, Yahukimo Regency, on Friday (September 26, 2025).

The two victims were safely evacuated to Dekai Regional General Hospital (RSUD Dekai), Yahukimo Regency, for further medical treatment.

The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his deep condolences over the tragic incident and assured that law enforcement will thoroughly investigate the case.

“This incident reinforces our commitment to take firm and measured action. We will not stand idly by and will ensure the perpetrators are apprehended,” emphasized Brigjen Pol. Faizal.

The Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that the joint TNI-Polri forces will continue to strengthen security measures in the Yahukimo region to prevent similar incidents.

“We will ensure that the public continues to feel safe and protected. The presence of security forces on the ground is to guarantee stability and peace for the residents,” he stated.

The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 urges all residents in Yahukimo and surrounding areas to immediately report any suspicious activity to the security forces. Law enforcement will continue efforts to maintain public order and security to ensure a safe environment for all members of the community.
