Nabire, Central Papua – Law enforcement in Papua again shows concrete results through synergy between the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz, Puncak Jaya Police, and the Nabire District Attorney’s Office. On Friday (9/12/2025), the authorities succeeded in escorting and handing over the murder suspect, Anis Telenggen alias Male (20), and the following evidence to the Nabire District Attorney’s Office.
The suspect who had been on the Wanted List (DPO) since August 2024 was finally brought to the Prosecutor’s Office to undergo stage II legal proceedings. This submission was also accompanied by evidence in the form of two AK 101 long firearms, one HS-9 short firearm, and one four-wheeled vehicle unit.
After the examination, the officers accompanied the Prosecutor’s Office in delivering the suspect to the Nabire Correctional Institution (Lapas), so that the entire legal process runs safely, orderly, and according to procedures.
Head of Operation Peace Cartenz, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that this process is not only a technical success, but also evidence of the commitment of the authorities in maintaining the transparency of law enforcement.
“We ensure that all series of activities take place in accordance with the rules. The handover of the suspect and this evidence confirms our commitment in upholding justice and providing legal certainty for the Papuan people,” said Brigadier General Faizal.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head od Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of inter-institutional togetherness.
“This process was carried out thanks to the solid cooperation between the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz, the Puncak Jaya Police, and the Prosecutor’s Office. This synergy is the key to realizing security stability. We invite the public to stay calm, believe in the law, and not easily provoked by misleading issues,” said Kombes Adarma.
Through this activity, Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz emphasized that law enforcement efforts in Papua are not only focused on enforcement, but also on building a sense of security and public trust. The synergy that is established is expected to be able to create Papua that is more peaceful, safe, and free from criminal acts.
