He also expressed appreciation to the personnel who worked hard on the ground:
“We are committed to upholding the law and ensuring public safety. There is no place for armed groups who commit violence in Papua.”
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., confirmed that the reconstruction was completed without any security issues.
“The entire process went smoothly, safely, and under control. This reconstruction will serve as essential evidence to complete the case file before it is submitted to the public prosecutor,” explained Commissioner Adarma.
After the reenactment, suspect Suplianus Bagau was returned to the Nabire Police detention center. The Cartenz Peace Operation and Nabire Police investigators will finalize the case file for further legal proceedings.
“We urge the public to remain calm and support the law enforcement efforts. We will continue to pursue the other fugitives still at large,” Commissioner Adarma concluded.
