Keerom – In an effort to preserve public safety and security ahead of the Papua Gubernatorial Revote (PSU), the Head of Skamto Village in Keerom Regency, Jhon Isomo, has issued an open appeal to the community.
The statement, delivered publicly, calls on all residents to maintain a peaceful, safe, and orderly atmosphere both in the lead-up to and during the PSU process in Keerom.
“I, Jhon Isomo, as a community leader and Head of Skamto Village in Keerom Regency, urge all Papuan citizens, especially those in Keerom, to uphold a safe and conducive environment throughout this process,” he said.
He further encouraged the public to exercise their voting rights wisely as a contribution to the progress and development of Papua Province. He also highlighted the importance of active participation from all elements of society to ensure a peaceful and orderly revote.
“I also urge everyone not to be provoked by any groups or individuals who may attempt to disrupt public order in our region,” he emphasized.
