Puncak, Central Papua — The Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force from the Sinak Sector continues to demonstrate its commitment to maintaining peace in Papua. On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, personnel from the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force conducted a community patrol in the residential areas of Sinak District, Puncak Regency. The activity aimed to strengthen ties with the local community and ensure public safety and security remained stable. The patrol was led by Sinak Sector Commander, Second Police Inspector Rizki, and was warmly welcomed by local residents. The people’s friendly reception reflected the growing trust between the police and the community in the area.
The Head of Cartenz Peace Operations, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operations, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that this outreach patrol is a concrete form of the police’s presence among the people.
“Through the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force, the police are here to guarantee the community’s safety from threats posed by armed criminal groups (KKB). We want the people to feel calm and protected,” he stated.
He expressed hope that through a humane approach, outreach patrols can serve as a key to building a peaceful Papua.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations for Cartenz Peace Ops, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., encouraged the public to continue maintaining the harmony that has been established.
“We sincerely hope that the security we’ve achieved can be sustained. The harmonious relationship between the community and security forces must always be upheld to ensure a peaceful and secure environment,” he said.
This outreach patrol serves as proof that security is not built solely through force, but also through presence, genuine care, and open communication between authorities and the people.
