Security and Health Collaboration of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz Arrives in Siepkosi District

Jayawijaya, Highland Papua – To maintain security stability and strengthen relations with the community, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 conducted patrols and provided healthcare services in Siepkosi District, Jayawijaya Regency, Highland Papua Province, on Tuesday (June 24, 2025). The activity was led by First Inspector of Police Muhammad Krisna Dirgantar, who serves as the Operations Officer of the Task Force Enforcement Unit. The patrol team engaged directly with residents and mapped out potential vulnerabilities in several locations. At the same time, the Task Force Support Unit provided medical services, including health check-ups, minor treatments, and education on healthy lifestyle practices.

This combination of security and social services reflects the integrated approach of Operation Peace Cartenz in addressing the needs of the people, both in terms of safety and public health. The presence of personnel is aimed at fostering closeness, not merely enforcing order. This model of engagement is considered more effective in nurturing harmonious relationships and encouraging a conducive atmosphere in the highland areas.

Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed his appreciation for the dedication shown by personnel in the field. He emphasized the importance of a humanistic approach in building public trust. “This activity is a tangible form of the state’s presence—not only to ensure security but also to show concern for the needs of the community,” he said.

Head of Public Relation, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., also encouraged the public to take part in maintaining order within their respective environments. He stressed that achieving lasting peace cannot rely solely on law enforcement but must involve collaboration from all parties. “We urge residents to report any potential disturbances so they can be addressed promptly. The synergy between the community and law enforcement is the foundation for realizing a peaceful and prosperous Papua,” he concluded.
