Puncak Jaya – The presence of personnel from the Peaceful Cartenz Task Force 2025 in Wuyuneri Village, Mulia District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Sunday (11/5), became a moment full of warmth for the local community. During their visit, the task force distributed aid packages and snacks to the residents, which were enthusiastically received by the community, especially the women and children of Papua.
“We are very happy with the assistance provided. It is very helpful in meeting our daily needs,” said Maria, one of the local women who received the aid packages.
The aid provided included rice, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, and snacks for the children. In addition to the aid, the residents also felt a sense of closeness with the task force personnel who directly interacted with them.
“It’s not just about the aid, but their presence, which is warm and caring, makes us feel valued,” added Markus, a community leader in Wuyuneri Village.
The residents acknowledged that such activities are rare and serve as a reminder that security forces also have a strong humanitarian side. They hope that similar activities will continue as a tangible form of support for the people of Papua.
The activity received direct appreciation from Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos, S.I.K., M.H., the Commander of the Peaceful Cartenz Task Force 2025, who stated that this charitable act reflects the humanistic approach of the Peaceful Cartenz Task Force.
“We want to show that our presence is not only to ensure security but also to bring peace and prosperity to the community. Activities like this will continue as part of the commitment of the Peaceful Cartenz Operation,” said Brigadier General Faizal.
In agreement with this, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, Head of Public Relations for Peaceful Cartenz 2025, also expressed his gratitude for the warm response from the residents.
“We are very thankful for the warm reception from the people of Wuyuneri Village. This motivates us to continue being present and providing the best for the people of Papua,” he said.
“We pray that peace continues to prevail in Papua and hope that the security forces are always given strength in maintaining safety here,” Markus concluded.
The simple yet meaningful event ended with a shared prayer and group photo, reinforcing the community’s hopes for a peaceful and prosperous Papua.
