Synergy with the Community: Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 Ensures Yalimo Remains Safe

Yalimo – To maintain public security and order (Kamtibmas) in Yalimo Regency, the Task Force (Satgas) of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 conducted a community patrol at the Elelim traditional market on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The patrol aimed to ensure that community activities run smoothly and safely.

The Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Kombes. Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., indicated that their presence at the Elelim Market was warmly welcomed by local residents. This positive reception reinforces the notion that Yalimo is currently peaceful and secure.

“We want to assure the community that Yalimo is in a safe state. The daily activities of the residents, which are proceeding well, are clear evidence of this conducive situation,” said Kombes Adarma.

During the visit, the task force members also showed their support for the local economy by shopping at the traditional market. This action demonstrates their concern for local vendors and aims to ensure that the wheels of the local economy keep turning.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations for Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., urged all community elements in Yalimo Regency, including religious leaders, community leaders, youth, women, and tribal chiefs, to continue collaborating with the government and security forces to maintain a safe and peaceful environment.

“Let’s work together to keep Yalimo Regency a conducive place,” emphasized Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo.

This community patrol is part of the ongoing efforts of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 to create and sustain peace in the Papua region, particularly in Yalimo Regency.
