Mimika – In an effort to increase the learning spirit of children in the Papua region, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz Public Relations held educational and humanistic activities at Rumah Pintar Aruka, East Mimika District, Wednesday (19/3). This activity is led directly by the Deputy Head of Public Relations for the Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri, S.I.K.
This activity was attended by dozens of Elementary School (SD) students who seemed enthusiastic to welcome the presence of police personnel. In a warm atmosphere, members of the Cartenz Peace Task Force together with educators provide various learning materials, ranging from counting, reading, to interesting educational games.
In addition, they also invite children to sing together to create a more enjoyable learning atmosphere. According to Police Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri, this activity is part of the tutoring program that is routinely carried out at Rumah Pintar Aruka. This program is the result of a collaboration between PT Freeport Indonesia and Tipuka Elementary School to provide additional materials outside of school hours.
“This smart house becomes a place for children to get deepening materials from school. We want to create a comfortable and fun learning environment so that children are more enthusiastic in pursuing knowledge,” said Police Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri.
In addition to providing learning, the school together with the Cartenz Peace Task Force also distributed eggs and candy as additional intake. This is done to help improve their health and well-being, as well as give happiness to children who participate in this activity.
Head of Public Relations Operation Peace Cartenz, Cheif Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., explained that this activity is part of the Task Force’s strategy in building a closer relationship with the community, especially children as the next generation.
“Through this program, we want to show that the presence of the police is not only in the security aspect, but also contributes directly to education and public welfare. We hope this activity can help increase children’s learning motivation and instill positive values from an early age,” said Cheif Commissioner Of Police Yusuf Sutejo.
He added that the result to be achieved from this activity is to create a more interactive learning atmosphere, build trust between the community and security forces, and support the improvement of the quality of education in the Papua region.
The students and teachers expressed their gratitude for the presence and concern of the Caritas Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025. They hope that this kind of activity will continue, because it has a positive impact on the educational and moral development of children in the region.
Through this activity, Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 not only carries out security duties, but also plays an active role in building harmonious relationships with the community, especially the younger generation, for a better future.
