However, at the Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 Post in Timika Sector, on Thursday (6/2), a touching moment unfolded as the personnel received support and encouragement simultaneously from their families through phone calls.
Amid their duty of maintaining security, they took a moment to communicate with their loved ones. Some of them were Bharatu Gregorius Wake, Bripda Rama Akbar Janottama, Bripda I Gede Chandra Sentana Putra, Bharaka Yenix Raweyai, S.H., and several other personnel.
The short but meaningful conversations served as a way to relieve the longing for those far from home. Words of prayer and moral support from families provided new energy, strengthening their mental resilience to continue their duties with full dedication.
Wakaops Damai Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that communication with families is one form of attention to the psychological well-being of personnel.
“We understand that duty in Papua comes with its own challenges. Therefore, family support is an important factor in maintaining the fighting spirit of the personnel. We always ensure that they have access to communication to maintain mental and emotional balance,” he said.
