Mimika- Amid their operational duties in Papua, personnel of Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 stationed in Mimika Regency, Central Papua, took the time to traverse the streets of Mimika, carrying milk boxes to distribute to children they encountered playing or engaging in activities on Tuesday (28/1). The distribution took place along Cenderawasih Street, SP2, and SP3 in Mimika Regency, Central Papua.
This initiative stems from a commitment to fulfilling the nutritional needs of Papuan children, ensuring they grow into healthy, intelligent individuals with strong immune systems. In addition to distributing milk boxes, Briptu Yoga Yandika and Bripda Annisa Mahardika introduced themselves, fostering a sense of community and familial connection with the people of Mimika, which they consider their second home during their national duty.
Before parting, Briptu Yoga and Bripda Annisa shared messages of peace and encouragement, urging the children to live in harmony, avoid negative influences, and stay diligent in their studies to achieve their dreams.
The Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Ops Damai Cartenz-2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, stated that this milk distribution initiative reflects the personnel’s concern for the growth and development of Papuan children. It is also part of the police force’s broader effort to contribute positively to improving the quality of life for the community, particularly the younger generation in Papua.
“We fully understand that children are the future of our nation. That’s why, in every activity we undertake, we strive to make a positive impact on them. The distribution of these milk boxes is one way we support the growth and development of Papuan children, helping them grow healthy, intelligent, and ready to face the future with enthusiasm,” he said.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that the bond between security personnel and the local community will grow stronger, fostering a more harmonious and caring environment in Papua.
