Jayapura – Starting their duties at the beginning of 2025, the joint TNI-POLRI apparatus in Puncak Jaya Regency carried out various positive activities, one of which was a joint patrol around Mulia City, Friday (03/01/2025).
This step was taken to ensure that the security and public order situation (Sitkamtibmas) remains conducive, especially after the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada stages.
Puncak Jaya Police Chief, AKBP Kuswara, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., through the Head of Operations Kompol R. Ahmad Hari Junianto, S.Kom., M.H., said that this joint patrol aims to strengthen the synergy between the TNI-POLRI in creating a sense of security for the community.
“At the beginning of this year, we together with our colleagues from the TNI continue to intensify dialogic patrols as an effort to maintain a conducive Sitkamtibmas. Our presence also aims to prevent potential security disturbances that may occur,” said Kompol Hari.
He also added that the presence of security forces through joint patrol activities proves the commitment of the TNI-POLRI in providing a sense of security and comfort for the community who carry out their daily activities.
“We appeal to the entire community to work together to maintain security. Maintaining conduciveness is not only the task of the TNI-POLRI, but our shared responsibility,” concluded Kompol Hari.
This proactive step is expected to be able to create a safe environment and support community activities in Puncak Jaya Regency throughout 2025.
