Mimika – Central Papuan Community Figures really appreciate the Government’s policy through the National Police Chief who has opened 2000 registrations with the Papua Regional Police.
Mimika Regency Community Figure Arnold Ronsumbre as Chair of Yahamak (Anti-Violence Human Rights Foundation) in a press conference in front of media crew in Mimika, Saturday (01/06/2024) said that the government really pays attention to us, the people of Papua, with its various policies.
“On behalf of the community, I would like to express my gratitude to the Central Government and the Chief of Police for giving special attention to us, the people of Papua, by accepting members of the National Police,” he said.
The National Police Headquarters issued a policy to the Papua Regional Police to open registration for 2000 National Police members for Papuan sons and daughters who meet the requirements.
“2000 registrations is a very good thing, where Papuan children can take advantage of this opportunity to become State Servants and have good jobs. “Because we know that in Papua the opportunity to find work is quite difficult,” he said.
Furthermore, we hope that registration like this can be opened again next year so that Papuan children can register again and unemployment in the Land of Papua for those of productive age is reduced.
