Jayapura – The Paniai District Police and Brimob BKO Paniai Police conducted a security patrol in the wake of the terror carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) on Sunday.
Paniai Police Chief, AKBP Abdus Syukur Felani, confirmed the operation when contacted.
Chief Felani stated that this joint patrol aims to provide a sense of safety and comfort to the community, particularly in Madi Village, East Paniai District, Paniai Regency.
“During the patrol, we advise the community to work together to maintain security and public order (Kamtibmas). Additionally, I remind personnel to prioritize the safety of both personnel and equipment during the patrol,” said Chief Felani.
He further explained that the patrol route starts from the main road of Madi Village to the Dauroto Port at the end of the airport.
“We hope that this patrol will help maintain the security situation and prevent KKB from terrorizing the residents of Paniai Regency,” he concluded.
