Jayapura – Benny Sweny., Sos., as Chair of the MRP Working Team for Handling the Aspirations and Problems of OAP expressed his gratitude to the National Police Chief, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., who will recruit 10 thousand people to be assigned to the ranks of the Papua Regional Police, spread across four provinces, namely Papua Province, Mountainous Papua, Central Papua and South Papua.
“I would like to thank the National Police Chief for his policy of adding the quota for accepting Polri members to the Papua Regional Police who have given quotas to Papuan sons and daughters,” said Benny, Saturday (18/05/2024).
Benny assesses that the recruitment program is a form of the National Police’s efforts to provide optimal service and security to the Papuan people. He also welcomed the policy given by the National Police Chief.
“Once again I express my gratitude for the kindness of the National Police Chief and I hope that this good service will always be rejected by God. “On behalf of the Papuan people, we express our gratitude,” he said.
He also expressed the Papuan people’s appreciation and hopes for the National Police’s efforts to empower Papuan sons and daughters in Police Institutions to serve the community and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
