General Egianus Kogoya was afraid. Papuan Children Prefer to Become Members of the TNI-Polri Instead of Joining Them

Papua- A leader of an armed criminal group in the Nduga region, Central Papua expressed his concern for the Papuan generation who are taking part in the selection for TNI-Polri members.

He led a narrative or words that distorted the facts on the ground through his social media (Facebook) that the Indonesian colonial government used indigenous Papuans as an effort to fight them.

“Papuan children will stop joining the TNI/Polri. How do you know the history of the Papuan people? “In the end, we sent you first to face us,” he wrote on his Facebook account.

Previously it was known that Egianus had registered to become a member of the TNI and succeeded in qualifying to become a member of the TNI. But unfortunately he was expelled because he didn’t follow the rules.

This was because Egianus was mentally shrinking and afraid of being educated. Apart from that, he turns a blind eye to the true history of Papua.

If Papuan children want to become members of the TNI-Polri because they have the goal of serving the Indonesian state. They uphold the values of Pancasila and know good and bad.

This is different from Egianus, who in his brain only wants to fight, rebel, kill.

The task of the Police in Papua is not to kill Egianus and his friends, but to serve the community and help ease the burden on their parents.

If Egianus considers that Papuan children who will one day become members of the TNI-Polri are family, there should be no need to be afraid.

“There’s no way they shot Ko. If not, don’t shoot them?,” let’s unite to build Papua. Stop Ko and your friends from killing indigenous Papuan children.
