Jayapura- Papuan Youth Leader, Ali Kabiay, who is also the Secretary General of Barisan Merah Putih RI-Papua, addressed the young generation of Papua and all components of society in Papua to actively use their voting rights properly to avoid abstention. (Tuesday 13/2/2024).
Ali Kabiay emphasized the importance of the success of the General Election scheduled for February 14, 2024. He invited all parties to give their aspirations through participation in the election process properly.
“Let’s make the elections on February 14, 2024 a success, let’s channel our aspirations and avoid abstention,” said Ali Kabiay.
As Chairman of the Saireri II Indigenous Youth of Nabire, Central Papua, Ali Kabiay added that the wise use of voting rights will have a positive impact on the next five years.
He encouraged all young Papuans who already have the right to vote to come to the polling stations (TPS), follow the applicable rules, and once again emphasized the importance of abstention.
Ali Kabiay emphasized the freedom for voters to vote according to their conscience and that each individual’s vote will affect the future of the nation.
“Please vote according to your conscience because our votes determine the future of this nation,” Ali Kabiay concluded.
