Jayapura- 4 employees of PT IBS who were taken hostage by KKB in Okbab District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency have been released and evacuated to Oksbil City, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Monday, 5/15/2023.
Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2023, Kombespol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., when contacted said, the 4 PT. IBS employees who were held hostage by the KKB were BTS Tower Workers in Okbab District, Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains Province.
“The 4 employees of PT IBS were picked up in Okbab district by a team from the Regional Government of Pegunungan Bintang Regency led directly by the Deputy Regent of Pegunungan Bintang, Kris Bakweng Uropmabin, S.T. and his entourage”. Said Ka Ops Peace Cartenz-2023.
He continued, the 4 employees of PT. IBS have arrived in Oksibil and are currently going through the examination process by the TNI-Polri medical team and Oksibil Hospital.
