Kiwirok — The presence of personnel from the Damai Cartenz Task Force 2026 in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang, on Friday (February 13, 2026), created a safe and warm atmosphere during the community’s market day activities.
Starting at 08:00 WIT, personnel led by Second Inspector Yason Pujiharto carried out security measures to ensure that residents’ economic activities ran in an orderly, safe, and smooth manner. In addition to conducting static security and patrols around the market area, officers prioritized a human-centered approach through dialogical patrols.
By greeting vendors, buyers, and community members engaged in daily activities, officers demonstrated a friendly and caring presence of the state. This approach plays an important role in fostering a sense of security while strengthening the relationship between security forces and the community.
Besides maintaining security stability, personnel also delivered public security advisories and encouraged residents to work together in maintaining environmental order. The communicative and persuasive presence of officers contributed to a comfortable and conducive market atmosphere.
The Head of Operations for Damai Cartenz 2026, Faizal Ramadhani, emphasized that market day security is part of the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to supporting community economic activities while maintaining regional stability.
“Markets are the center of community activity. The state must be present to ensure that every citizen can carry out their activities safely and comfortably. A human-centered approach remains our priority in maintaining security stability,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Operations, Adarma Sinaga, added that effective security is not only measured by physical presence but also by the ability to build public trust.
“We want the community to feel that security personnel are partners. With good communication and a persuasive approach, a conducive situation can be consistently maintained,” he explained.
