Sugapa — The Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation Task Force is implementing security measures at Bilogai Airport in Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua, to ensure the safe and smooth flow of flights and the distribution of public logistics.
The security operation took place on Monday (February 2, 2026) and was led by the Commander of the Belukar 4.0 ODC Sector, AKP Syahril Arditya, S.Tr.K., S.I.K. Personnel sterilized the airport area, secured the runway, and monitored the surrounding area to anticipate potential security disturbances.
The Head of Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation, Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that airports are vital facilities that play a crucial role in people’s lives, especially in mountainous areas that are heavily dependent on air transportation.
According to him, security measures are implemented not only to ensure flight safety but also to ensure the smooth distribution of basic necessities, medicines, and access to healthcare services. All personnel are emphasized to carry out their duties professionally while prioritizing a humanistic approach.
Thanks to the integrated security measures implemented by the Carstensz Peace Operation Task Force, all passenger and cargo flight activities at Bilogai Airport have proceeded safely and without interruption. Carstensz Peace Operation 2026 is committed to continuously maintaining security stability at vital facilities to support a safe and conducive life for the Papuan people.
