Sinak, Central Papua – Sustainable security in Papua is not only built through the presence of the apparatus, but also through warm social relationships and mutual trust. This principle continues to be realized by the Cartenz-2025 Peace Operation Task Force through a humanist approach in the Sinak District.
On Wednesday (12/17/2025), two Sinak Sector personnel, Bharada Rosihan Yuwandi Pratama and Bharada Ifaldi Syaiful Haq, greeted the residents in a simple but meaningful way, namely sharing snacks while talking casually. This activity becomes a fluid dialogue space, without barriers, between the security apparatus and the community.
The atmosphere full of familiarity was clearly seen when residents, especially children, welcomed the presence of Task Force personnel with smiles and enthusiasm. For the community, this kind of interaction fosters a sense of appreciation and attention, as well as strengthening the belief that the officers are present as partners, not just security guards.
The social approach is part of the Cartenz Peace Task Force strategy to encourage community participation in maintaining a safe and conducive environment. With open communication, officials can better understand the social conditions of residents, as well as build trust that is the main capital of long-term stability.
Head of Cartenz Peace Operations, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that the humanist approach is a strategic element in every implementation of Task Force tasks.
“Security cannot stand alone without public trust. The humanist approach is an important bridge so that the community feels safe, comfortable, and involved in maintaining their environment,” said Brigadier General of Police Faizal Ramadhani.
He added that the success of the operation is very much determined by the strong relationship between the apparatus and the community in the field.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Cartenz Peace Operations, Chief Commissaris of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said that sharing and interacting directly have a wide positive impact.
“A simple interaction like this builds emotional closeness. When the public feels close to the apparatus, they will be more open in communicating and together maintaining regional security,” said Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga.
He emphasized that all Cartenz Peace Task Force personnel are directed to always put forward a polite attitude, respect local wisdom, and place the community as a strategic partner.
Through a social interaction-based approach in Sinak, the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force, continues to strengthen its commitment to present security that starts from trust and togetherness. Hopefully, this harmonious relationship will be able to create a sustainable peaceful atmosphere for all Papuan people.
