Intan Jaya, Central Papua — As part of efforts to boost reading interest and strengthen future human resource development, 18 personnel from the Damai Cartenz (Peace Cartenz) Operational Task Force carried out teaching activities and distributed reading materials to students at elementary, junior high, and senior high schools across Intan Jaya on Sunday (23 November 2025).
The program, held from 08:00 to 12:00 WIT, included interactive teaching sessions and the distribution of books to schoolchildren. The initiative aims to cultivate a reading culture among Papuan youth and encourage the rise of a smart, competitive future generation.
Among the personnel involved were Bripda Ramadhan Dalif Makaminan, Bripda Alex Logo, and 16 other officers. Their presence brought a warm and enthusiastic learning atmosphere, while also strengthening positive relations between security forces and local communities.
The Head of the Damai Cartenz Operation emphasized that the activity is part of a human-centered approach prioritized to build trust and close engagement with the people of Papua.
“We believe that education and literacy are essential foundations for a more advanced and prosperous Papua. Through this activity, we hope Papuan children become more motivated to read and learn,” said Brig. Gen. Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H.
Additionally, the Deputy Head of the Damai Cartenz Operation, Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed appreciation for the continued initiatives of personnel supporting human resource development through social and educational activities on the ground.
“This approach is part of a sustainable strategy to maintain stability and foster social development in the region,” he noted.
This initiative demonstrates that Operation Damai Cartenz is committed not only to security efforts but also to improving educational quality and literacy for Papuan communities—laying the groundwork for a brighter, more competitive future.
