Mimika,— Personnel Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz strengthen humanitarian relations with the community through social activities with children on Irigasi Street, Mimika Baru District, Mimika Regency, Central Papua, on Monday (27/10).
The activity became a real manifestation of the Polri’s humanist approach to the community, as well as emphasisizing that the duty of the police is not only limited to maintaining security, but also building familiarity and public trust.
Head of Operation Peace Cartenz , Brigadier General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., explained that this kind of activity is part of the National Police strategy in creating a conducive Public order security situation in Papua.
“We want to show that the National Police is present not only for law enforcement, but also as a friend to the community. Closeness to residents is the key to maintaining peace in this beautiful Papua,” said Brigadier General Faizal.
In the activity, the personnel Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz appeared to mingle with the community and distribute snacks to children around the location. The cheerful atmosphere was seen when the children enthusiastically welcomed the presence of police personnel with laughter and smiles.
In a separate place, Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that this social activity is expected to strengthen the relationship between security forces and the community.
“Humanistic steps like this are important to build public trust and strengthen synergy for the creation of sustainable security and peace in Papua,” said Kombes Adarma.
Through these activities, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz emphasized its commitment to continue to be present in the community not only as a security guard, but also as a partner and friend of the Papuan people in realizing sustainable peace.
