Mulia, Central Papua — On Monday, October 27, 2025, at 3:12 p.m. local time (WIT), the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force carried out the second-stage handover of a suspect and related evidence to the Nabire District Attorney’s Office, Central Papua. The suspect, identified as Yetien Enumbi, also known as Konara Enumbi, was formally transferred to prosecutors to proceed with further legal processes.
The handover was conducted by personnel from the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force and Puncak Jaya Police, who traveled from Puncak Jaya to Nabire to complete the process. After a three-hour journey, officers arrived at the Nabire District Attorney’s Office at 3:12 p.m., where they officially handed over the suspect and evidence to the Public Prosecutor. The procedure went smoothly and safely, concluding around 4:00 p.m..
Following the completion of the handover, the suspect and evidence were immediately transferred to Nabire Class IIB Correctional Facility using the prosecutor’s detention vehicle.
Suspect Profile
Name: Yetien Enumbi alias Konara
Enumbi, Place and Date of Birth: Gimanggen, July 1, 2003, Address: Paralo Village, Tingginambut District, Puncak Jaya Regency. Enumbi was arrested on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10:40 a.m. WIT in a traditional Papuan hut (honai) located in Usir Depan Village, Puncak Jaya Regency. He is suspected of involvement in several acts of violence, including the shooting of Police Brigadier Ronald Enok.

- 4 jerry cans containing kerosene
- 3 9mm bullet casings (inscribed PIN 9 CA, PIN 9 TB, PIN 9 TA)
- 2 gold-colored metal fragments
- 1 black police cap
- 1 brown uniform shirt labeled “RONALD ENOK”
- 1 brown undershirt, army-green belt, and brown pants
- 1 black-orange LINING shorts, gray LACOSTE underwear, and black socks
- 1 pair of black shoes
- 1 white-red CLICK sling bag
- 1 4GB ROBOT RF 104 flash drive containing a video statement from TPNPB KODAP YAMBI related to the January 21, 2025 police shooting
- 1 green 5.11 tactical jacket Several traditional Papuan accessories, including noken bags, beaded necklaces, and bracelets with various patterns and ornaments
- 1 black Yamaha V-Ixion motorcycle (frame number MH3RG1810FK002632).
