Jayapura — As a form of concern and an effort to strengthen ties with the community, the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz carried out a social activity by sharing with residents and children in Gurabesi Village and Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, on Sunday (October 26).
This activity is part of the National Police’s commitment to fostering peace and strengthening unity in the Land of Papua.
Head of Operation Damai Cartenz, Brigadier General (Police) Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that simple activities like this have a significant positive impact on realizing a peaceful and harmonious Papua.
“This activity may seem small, but it carries great meaning in building peace in Papua,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal Ramadhani.
Deputy Head of Operation Damai Cartenz, Commissioner (Police) Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that through this social activity, personnel could get closer to the community and children around the event area. In addition to distributing snacks, officers also interacted directly and engaged in friendly conversations with the residents.
A warm and cheerful atmosphere filled the event, which began at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Indonesian Time until completion. Laughter and togetherness between Task Force members and the community reflected the true spirit of peace promoted by Operation Damai Cartenz.
Through this activity, the Public Relations Task Force hopes to strengthen the sense of brotherhood and build greater public trust in the National Police as protectors and guardians of the people in Papua.
