Jayapura, Papua – As a form of care and solidarity, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 distributed social assistance to children from the Generasi Pembawa Terang (GPTK) Orphanage, who were affected by a recent fire in Holtekamp Village, Muara Tami District, Jayapura.
The handover ceremony took place at Barrack VI of the Jayapura Police Education Center (SPN Jayapura) on Tuesday (October 14, 2025). During the event, the Task Force provided one box of milk and light snacks as a symbolic gesture of support for the children impacted by the fire incident on Tuesday (September 30, 2025).
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that the event served as a moment to strengthen bonds between the security forces and the community, particularly the children affected by the tragedy.
“The atmosphere was warm and friendly. We wanted to bring new spirit and encouragement to the children so they can remain cheerful and hopeful,” said Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that this social initiative represents the Task Force’s genuine concern for the community, especially for those who need special attention and moral support.
“We aim to be present not only in maintaining security but also as part of social solutions. The children at the orphanage are in good health and continue their daily activities as usual. The entire event ran safely, orderly, and smoothly,” said Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga.
Through this humanitarian activity, Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 hopes to foster a spirit of solidarity, empathy, and strengthen humanitarian values among the people of Papua.
