Paniai, Central Papua – Efforts to build a safe and peaceful Papua continue to be carried out by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz through social activities that touch the hearts of the community. One of the obvious forms can be seen in communication activities and humanist approaches with the residents of Bibida Village, Paniai Regency.
The activity was led by Ipda Nofri Surya Rosa who took the initiative to greet the residents as well as strengthen the friendship between the security forces and the community. Not only talking about safety, the personnel also invited the community to have a light dialogue, listen to complaints, and share happiness by sharing food and playing with children.
Bibida people welcomed this activity with enthusiasm. For them, the presence of officers who came not only as security guards, but also as friends and protectors who care about the welfare of the local community. The atmosphere of familiarity and children’s laughter is proof that the humanist approach of the apparatus has a positive impact on creating a sense of security and trust in the community.
Head of Operation Peace Cartenz Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., assessed the activity as a real form of implementing the community policing concept in the Papua region.
“We want to build Papua with our hearts. A humanist approach like this is an important step in fostering mutual trust between the community and security officers. The Cartenz Peace Operation not only focuses on law enforcement, but also on peaceful and sustainable social development,” said Brigadier General of Police Faizal.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that humanist activities are the main foundation in creating security stability in Papua.
“We want every personnel in the field to be able to be part of the community, not a separate party. Emotional closeness and good communication will strengthen the sense of security in the operation area,” explained Adarma.
The activities were carried out safely, orderly, and warm, reflecting that the mission of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz was not only oriented towards physical security, but also the development of a sense of peace and trust between the Papuan apparatus and the people.
With small steps like this in Bibida, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz continues to show that protecting Papua is not only with weapons, but also with a touch of humanity and sincere love for its people.
