Paniai, Central Papua — The Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force reaffirmed its commitment to fostering peace through a human-centered approach by engaging with children in Paniai Regency on Wednesday (October 2, 2025).
Led by Ipda Syahrir Mahyuddin, S.H., along with two Task Force members, Bripda Fajri Martono and Bripda Torik Apgani, the activity took place along Jalan Madi, East Paniai, stretching from the Regent’s Office to the Paniai Police Headquarters. The event created an atmosphere of warmth and joy.
The personnel not only greeted local residents but also interacted with children, sharing light snacks and sweets. The response was overwhelmingly positive, as children welcomed the officers with excitement and smiles.
Head of Cartenz Peace Operation, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that human-centered activities are essential for ensuring security and comfort.
“Our presence is not merely about law enforcement. We want to spread kindness and smiles, especially to Papua’s children as the next generation,” Brig. Gen. Faizal stressed.
Echoing this, Deputy Head of Cartenz Peace Operation, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., underlined the importance of strengthening emotional bonds between security forces and communities.
“We want society, especially children, to see security officers as friends. From this closeness, trust and a sense of belonging will grow,” Commissioner Adarma explained.
Through this simple yet meaningful activity, the Cartenz Peace Task Force demonstrated that its mission in Papua goes beyond law enforcement—embracing the community with compassion, warmth, and solidarity.
