Yahukimo, Papua Pegunungan – The joint team of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz with Brigade Mobile Regional Police Papua, Yahukimo Police, and Military area command 1715 Yahukimo continues to take real steps in handling the violence carried out by the Armed Criminal Group which calls itself Command of the operation area XVI Yahukimo, the Yamuhe, Kanibal and Sisibia battalions led by Kopi Heluka. In the latest evacuation operation, officers managed to save one survivor and evacuate a number of victims’ bodies that were previously the target of a Armed Ciminal Gorup attack in the Seradala District, Yahukimo Regency.
On Wednesday night, (10/12025) around 22.30 WIT, the joint team managed to evacuate Yohanes Bouk alias Nando (22 years old, a miner) in a safe condition despite suffering from mixed malaria after five days of survival in the forest by hiding in a hole without food and drink.
In addition, the bodies of three mining workers were also successfully evacuated, namely:
• Marselino Lumare (32), a miner from Sanger, domiciled in Dekai, Yahukimo.
• Yunus Agama (29), a mining worker from Maluku, domiciled in Dekai, Yahukimo.
• Roberto Agama (37), a miner from Sanger, domiciled in Dekai, Yahukimo.
All bodies were taken to Regional public hospital Dekai at 02.30 WIT Thursday (10/2/2025) for further medical treatment, while the survivors also immediately received intensive care.
Not only that, the joint team also managed to evacuate two other bodies that were previously reported dead at the Kali I Excavator Camp, Seradala District, namely:
• Andika Pratama, a mining worker from Sanger, resides in Paradiso Street, Dekai.
• Fikram Amiman, a mining worker from Sanger, resides in Paradiso Street, Dekai.
With the addition of the evacuation, the total number of victims who were successfully evacuated by the Regional public hospital until now is 7 people who died (MD) and 5 people survived.

Head of Operation Peace Cartenz Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that his party will not give space to KKB.
“We will pursue and arrest the perpetrators and act professionally against anyone involved in armed crimes. Law enforcement will be carried out in a measurable manner and in accordance with applicable laws. Security stability in Yahukimo is the top priority,” said Brigadier General of Police Faizal.
Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that the public was asked to remain calm and not panic.
“We understand that this incident caused unrest, but I emphasize that the security forces are always present to protect the community. The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz is committed to maintaining the safety of every Papuan citizen,” said Adarma.
As a follow-up, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz continues to strengthen coordination with regional ranks, Regional public hospital Dekai, as well as forming a joint evacuation team to ensure the handling of victims and law enforcement operations run safely, effectively, and continuously.
