Intan Jaya, Central Papua — In an effort to strengthen synergy with the local community, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 once again carried out a humanistic outreach activity among residents, specifically at Pasar Baru Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
The activity was attended by several task force personnel, including Ipda Moh. Arsyad Hafid Affandy, S.Psi., Bripda Alex Logo, and Bripda Randa, who directly engaged with vendors and market visitors.
Through this initiative, the Peace Cartenz Task Force aims to build trust and emotional closeness between security personnel and the local community. Not only did the officers greet and engage in warm conversations with residents, but they also provided brief education on the importance of maintaining public order, fostering a conducive environment, and preventing potential social conflicts.
The enthusiasm and warm welcome from the community reflected a positive response to the approach. The presence of security forces in public spaces such as markets was seen as a way to create a sense of safety while strengthening healthy communication between citizens and law enforcement.
Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that such activities are part of the non-violent approach strategy promoted by the Task Force in maintaining security stability in the Papua region.
“We aim to build a sincere bond with the community. The Task Force is here not just as law enforcers but as partners and friends of the people. It is through this approach that we hope the public will feel more comfortable and protected,” said Brigadier General Faizal.
Echoing this sentiment, Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., also emphasized the importance of fostering harmonious relationships, especially in areas historically known as vulnerable.
“Intan Jaya plays a significant role in the security landscape of Papua. Through these community-oriented activities, we want to affirm that stability can only be achieved when the people and security forces move forward together. We invite all elements of society to preserve peace and not be swayed by misleading provocations,” he stated.
The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 reaffirmed its commitment to consistently prioritize a humanistic approach in every operation, with the hope that a peaceful and prosperous Papua can be realized through close collaboration between the authorities and the people.
