Nduga, Papua Highlands — The spirit of care and a human-centered approach was once again demonstrated by the personnel of Operation Peace Cartenz through an activity held at the Koteka Post on Saturday (September 13, 2025) WIT.
During this event, female police officers (Polwan) of Operation Peace Cartenz directly interacted with the personnel stationed in the field. The moment was filled with camaraderie and a sense of family, while also providing an additional boost of morale for those serving in a conflict-prone area.
The participating Polwan included Bripda Yhani Febriyanti, Bripda Itri Fiadn, and Bripda Annisa Mahardika from the Law Enforcement Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz, Nduga Sector.
Their presence reflected the other side of the operation, which not only focuses on law enforcement but also on building solidarity, mutual support, and maintaining the spirit of the personnel on duty.
Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his appreciation for the involvement of female officers in the Nduga mission.
“The presence of Polwan among their fellow officers at Koteka Post shows that this operation is not just about security, but also about humanity. These female officers provide an important human touch that helps maintain the morale and spirit of our personnel,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that the participation of female officers has a positive impact both for the personnel and the local community.
“Polwan play a strategic role, not only in supporting field duties but also in building softer and more persuasive communication. This is very helpful in maintaining a harmonious atmosphere in a sensitive area like Nduga,” said Chief Comm. Adarma.
The activity ran safely, smoothly, and in a warm family-like atmosphere. The presence of Polwan at Koteka Post is expected to be a source of positive energy for all personnel of Operation Peace Cartenz as they continue their mission to maintain peace and security in Papua.
