Intan Jaya, Central Papua – The presence of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz at Pasar Baru Sugapa on Tuesday (9/16/2025) received a warm welcome from the local community. Residents assess that the humanist activities carried out by the Task Force have created a safer and more comfortable market atmosphere.
In that activity, the Task Force personnel who attended were Ipda Moh. Arsyad Hafid Affandy, S.Psi., Bripda Alex Logo, and Bripda Randa. They interact directly with the market community, as well as providing light education about the importance of maintaining order and security together.
A number of traders admitted that they were happy with the way the Task Force got closer through simple communication, even greeted the community with full familiarity. “We feel calmer with the presence of officials in the market. The atmosphere becomes safer and more peaceful,” said a local trader.
Residents also hope that this kind of activity can be carried out routinely, so that the emotional relationship between the apparatus and the community will be stronger and strengthen the sense of togetherness.
Head of Operation Peace Cartenz, Brigadier. General. Pol. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that the appreciation of the residents is proof that the presence of the apparatus is positively accepted.
“We are grateful that the community welcomed us well. It shows that there is mutual trust that continues to grow. We are here not only to maintain security, but also to be a part of the daily life of the community,” said Brigadier General Faizal.
In line with that, Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartebz, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said that the appreciation of residents becomes a positive energy for personnel in the field.
“Community trust is a big capital for all of us. We will continue to maintain this closeness, so that Intan Jaya and the entire Papua region remain peaceful and not affected by the provocation of groups that want to disturb stability,” said Adarma.
With a positive response from the community, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz emphasized that it would continue humanist activities in various regions of Papua, as part of its commitment to creating peace through a persuasive and family-loving approach.
